This was some audio disguised as YouTube video that I pilfered from Skeets at Ball Don't Lie after I viewed it from the gentlemen at Awful Announcing who got the piece from the website Larry Brown Sports.

Good god, that's a lot of linkage right there.

ANYWAY, here's some audio from last night's Hawks-Heat game in which Hawks' announcer Steve Holman decides to be a completely petty dick while giving the play by play of the game.



It's not like this has been a terribly competitive series that drives up the testosterone and makes all want to punch koala bears and curl Kirstie Alley's weight in auto parts. This has been a one-sided affair each game in which one team has played listlessly while the other is putting on a good enough offensive display.

So the fact that Dwyane Wade is taking shots a little personally when he's banged up as it is might just be the thing that fires up the two teams to get the competitive juices flowing.

As for Steve mocking Wade for "being in commercials" and "having a hurt head," you do realize that your guys are culpable as well, right? You know that a lot of athletes have commercials. Did you mean national commercials instead of Zaza Pachulia possibly striking up a marketing deal with The Varsity?

Let's try to be more specific when we decide to announce a game in the manner of a 13-year old girl trying to write in her slam book.
