Two years ago, Celtics fans were treated to an after the whistle display of flair, showmanship, and pure athleticism when Tony Allen continued his move to the basket well after the play was called dead. He threw down a thunderous dunk to wow himself and the crowd. Unfortunately, when he landed on the ground, he blew out his ACL and was done for the year.




Now a couple of years removed, Tony Allen seems to be more and more confident in the health and strength of his knee with his jump, cut, and impressive dunk. Wednesday night, he seemed ready to show off his continually growing confidence when Ray Allen halted a shot attempt to toss an alley-oop towards his young teammate with the same last name. Tony Allen gave the crowd a little show and reminded us that he can still get up better than all of us. Yes, even you Sean May.
