So Dirk Nowitzki drove the lane tonight and in the process of drawing the foul, he also drew some teeth from Carl Landry's mouth.

Actually, he knocked out three teeth altogether and two of them were implanted into Dirk's arm. That sounds like it hurt.

I totally know how Carl Landry feels.

When I was in the 4th grade, we were playing Four Square at recess. Some jerk bounced the ball way over my head and I started running back to get it. Since I'm a competitor, I was intent on saving that ball and not getting knocked out of the game. I tracked the ball like I was Ken Griffey, Jr and followed it all the way into my hands. Unfortunately, when I got the ball into my hands it was the exact same moment that I ran face first into a support beam/pole for the overhang of the walkway.

Next thing I knew, I was spitting out half of each of my two front teeth. Some jerk-ass kid named Edmund told me my teeth were on the ground. I was going to slap him for being stupid and obvious but since I was just a 4th grader, I started to cry about my teeth instead. Now to this day, I still have flashbacks about the loss of teeth and think about it whenever I see bright rubber balls flying through the air.

So ya, Carl Landry, I know exactly how you feel.

Hopefully, Dirk leaves some cash under your pillow.
