After that they lost me and the story lines and stunts became too dumb for me. Maybe it was the fact that I knew it was fake at that point. I'm not sure. But I just couldn't get into it anymore after age 10 or 11 or whenever that Santa Claus moment was. I tried to get into it a little bit late in high school with a wrestling video game here or there but it never took. I had no idea who the Rock was, why Steve Austin was flipping me off and there were too many guys pointing at their crotch and suggesting that I vacuum them with my mouth.
Well, wrestling almost got me to watch last night....almost. They had Shaq host the Monday Night show and if it hadn't been for some Call of Duty: World at War, my girlfriend getting off of work early and the TV eventually being dominated by the inane, finale of the Bachelorette in which an ugly girl ended up with a gay guy who suffers from erectile dysfunction then I would have remembered to watch Shaq.
Luckily, there's Skeets to post the video for all of us to see.
One quick thing: I watched the highlights on Sports Center this morning and I was confused by the height of the people.
I could be wrong but I vaguely remember a gigantic, illiterate of a man named The Big Show being listed around the 7'4" mark for height. And yet, Shaq was a legit two to three inches taller than him at minimum. Remember last season when everyone was confused on LeBron's height and weight and people ended up saying he was 6'10" and weight around 275?
Well, did the WWE fudge the numbers on how big the Big Show actually is or does every big name in Cleveland begin to curiously grow when they start playing in that city?
Is Shaq now 7'7"?
Was Big Show really only 6'9"?
Does anybody know anybody's height anymore?
