Let's recapulate the draft and figure out who came out on top and who needs some more work. The scoring system is based on a scale of 1 to 10.

Atlanta Hawks
 Players Acquired
Score:  8/10
Jeff Teague - PG (19th pick), Sergiy Gladyr - SG (49th pick), Jamal Crawford

The trade for Jamal Crawford was definitely a bit of a risk because he isn't the traditional point guard that people hoped he'd become when he was first drafted into the NBA. The Hawks picked up a more traditional point guard in the draft with Jeff Teague who could end up being a 10-year starter in this league. It allows them to let Mike Bibby walk and have a better option off the bench with Crawford than Flip Murray.

Boston Celtics
 Players Acquired
Score:  6/10
Lester Hudson - SG (58th pick)

Not much the Celtics could do here to add to their roster with their first round pick going to Minnesota. Hudson might make the team in a year or two as a scorer off the bench but he'll probably never be someone who fits into the rotation of a title contending team. The Eddie House comparisons are good but he's not nearly that good of a scorer.

Charlotte Bobcats
 Players Acquired
Score:  9/10
Gerald Henderson - SG (12th pick), Derrick Brown - PF (40th pick)

The Bobs did a great job of addressing both of their needs with their two picks in the draft. Gerald Henderson gives them an athletic, defensive-oriented shooting guard who can knock down the outside shot and fit right into the rotation if Larry Brown lets him. Derrick Brown was a steal in the second round because he could have easily been a first round selection. He's a lot of energy off the bench and with Sean May now off the team, there's more room for him on the roster and floor (in more ways than one).

Chicago Bulls
 Players Acquired
Score: 7/10
James Johnson - PF (16th pick), Taj Gibson - PF (26th pick)

The Bulls did a great job of addressing a need in the frontcourt with James Johnson in the middle of the first round. James has the potential to be a full-time starter in this league and could develop nicely alongside guys like Joakim Noah and Tyrus Thomas. I thought that Taj Gibson pick was a bit of a mistake though. There were much better forwards on the board with Derrick Brown and DeJuan Blair. Gibson seems to be a fourth or fifth big man at best on an NBA team. I doubt he'll ever really contribute to the Bulls or any team.

Cleveland Cavaliers
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
Christian Eyenga - SG (30th pick), Danny Green - SF (46th pick), Emir Preldzic - SF (57th pick), Shaquille O'Neal

I really don't understand the Christian Eyenga pick other than the fact that maybe they didn't want to pay a rookie contract this season. So they selected Eyenga to stash him in international play and risk that he may never contribute to this team. They could have had guys like Patty Mills, Nick Calathes, or Sam Young to contribute much sooner. But instead they opted to save a few bucks. The Green pick was great because he can be utilized perfectly with LeBron. And the Shaq trade gave them a low post presence without having to give up anything of value in return. Shaq isn't the player that he used to be but he still commands a double team when he's being defended and can create defensive rotation problems for the other team (and his own).

Dallas Mavericks
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
Rodrigue Beaubois - PG (25th pick), Nick Calathes - PG (45th pick), Ahmad Nivins - PF (56th pick)

The Mavericks decided to grab a couple of guards that they can choose to bring over now or stash in Europe for some seasoning. In my opinion, they get a couple of steals with those guards too. Beaubois is like a French version of Rajon Rondo (and no, that doesn't mean twice the attitude) who can be a real game changer on both ends of the floor. He has an enormous wingspan and uses it on defense. Calathes is someone who should have been a first round pick but had teams avoid him since he has a contract to play in Greece. When he decides to come over, he'll step in right away and help the Mavs out. Nivins has an outside shot at making the team as a fifth big man and will need to be a rebounding force to do so.

Denver Nuggets
 Players Acquired
Score: 10/10
Ty Lawson - PG (18th pick)

Anytime you can go into the draft as a Western Conference Finals team without a single draft pick and walk away with one of the top point guard prospects without giving up a single member of your team, you've had a great draft night. Lawson is the perfect answer at backup point guard for the Nuggets and will allow Chauncey Billups to rest more. With Billups teaching Lawson over the next few years, it will also give Ty a big advantage for when he's ready to take over the team. Just a fantastic move by the Nuggets front office.

Detroit Pistons
 Players Acquired
Score: 6/10
Austin Daye - SF (15th pick), DaJuan Summers - SF (35th pick), Jonas Jerebko - SF (39th pick)

I really don't understand this draft for the Pistons at all. They've lost and are potentially losing so much in the frontcourt this off-season that you would have thought they would address the center and power forward positions with their picks. Instead, they grabbed an anorexic man's version of Tayshaun Prince in Austin Daye who does fit the mold of a tough frontcourt player. The Pistons made up for it a little bit with good value picks in Summers and Jerebko in the second round but they twice passed on DeJuan Blair in this draft when he would have fit in perfectly. Joe Dumars once again has a confusing draft that doesn't completely help the team.

Golden State Warriors
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
Stephen Curry - G (7th pick), Acie Law, Speedy Claxton

The Warriors have essentially replaced Jamal Crawford with Stephen Curry and brought in Acie Law to be the backup point guard. Both of these were fantastic moves in the post-Chris Mullin era. Curry will bring a much more efficient shooter to the Warriors attack if Don Nelson ever decides to play the rookie. But the real news is the potential trade of Andris Biedrins, Marco Bellineli, and Brandan Wright to the Suns for Amar'e Stoudemire. If this goes down, it changes the entire dynamic of the W's.

Houston Rockets
 Players Acquired
Score: 6/10
Jermaine Taylor - SG (32nd pick), Sergio Llull - PG (34th pick), Chase Budinger - SG (44th pick)

The Rockets went from being completely out of this draft to acquiring three potentially valuable role players. Taylor is someone who can be very valuable in replacing what Von Wafer brought to the team. Llull is a point guard prospect who will spend a few years in Europe. and Budinger is someone who was a borderline lottery prospect a couple of years ago. He can provide some great shooting and athleticism off the bench or whenever Tracy McGrady goes down with his next injury.

Indiana Pacers
 Players Acquired
Score: 7/10
 Tyler Hansbrough - PF (13th pick), A.J. Price - PG (52nd pick)

People like mi hermano, Jared Wade from BTPH, will be suicidal about this pick of Hansbrough with the 13th pick but I don't think it's nearly that bad. Hansbrough will never do anything with beauty and grace but he knows how to rebound and score inside. He's great at scoring after contact and can be a great rotation big man. He can be a Paul Millsap/Carl Landry type of guy off the bench. Sure they needed a better point guard and could have had Jrue Holiday was available but if they re-sign Jarrett Jack, it won't be so bad. Price could be the guy that replaces Diener as the third or fourth point guard on the team. He'll be good in that role.

Los Angeles Clippers
 Players Acquired
Score: 10/10
Blake Griffin - PF (1st pick)

They did what they're supposed to do. Only time will tell if he's more Amar'e Stoudemire than Kenyon Martin but for now, it was the right pick.

Los Angeles Lakers
 Players Acquired
Score: 2/10
Chinemelu Elonu - PF (59th pick)

They sold their first round pick and selected someone with the 59th who will never play in the NBA. That's pretty much a complete fail unless the money they got helps them keep Lamar Odom and Trevor Ariza.

Memphis Grizzlies
 Players Acquired
Score: 7/10
Hasheem Thabeet - C (2nd pick), DeMarre Carroll - PF (27th pick), Sam Young - SF (36th pick)

If you believe that Hasheem Thabeet is the best option to add a defensive big man to the Grizzlies in the next year or two and that he'll be more Dikembe Mutombo than Priest Lauderdale then this is a good pick. Personally, I think Thabeet will be a decent enough pro. Is that worth the second pick in the draft? Yikes, who knows? Carroll and Young are great additions to the bench end of the frontcourt rotation. Carroll adds toughness and Young will be a good scorer.

Miami Heat
 Players Acquired
Score: 6/10
 Patrick Beverley - PG (42nd pick), Robert Dozier - F (60th pick)

I don't think we're getting any Mario Chalmers type of additions from the second round here for Miami but they could eventually be guys that stick around the end of the bench. Dozier has a lot of athleticism but not a ton of basketball skill. Beverley is a really good defender who doesn't do a lot on offense. I would expect him to be a defensive specialist.

Milwaukee Bucks
 Players Acquired
Score: 9/10
Brandon Jennings - PG (10th pick), Jodie Meeks - SG (41st pick)

Not only did Jennings have the best handshake in draft history but they grabbed their point guard of the future which gives them tons of options. They're no longer contenders for the playoffs and are heading into a serious rebuilding mode. Having Jennings means the Bucks don't have to overpay to keep Ramon Sessions and can look into moving Michael Redd for some younger assets. Meeks in the second round gives them another scoring option off the bench to complement Charlie Bell. Jennings paired with Scott Skiles could be volatile but Jennings is a good enough talent to build with.

Minnesota T'Wolves
 Players Acquired
Score: INC
Ricky Rubio - PG (5th pick), Jonny Flynn - PG (6th pick), Wayne Ellington - SG (28th pick), Henk Norel - PF (47th pick), Darius Songaila, Etan Thomas, Oleksiy Pecherov

I can't give a score to this move until the Wolves get Rubio to commit to playing for them. If they trade him away for some garbage package including Nate Robinson than not even Jonny Flynn can save them. I believe Kahn when he says the two can play together. Flynn would be a good off-guard scoring option with Rubio distributing. And Wayne Ellington gives a bad shooting team someone who is a good shooter. The Wolves are headed in the right direction for their three-year rebuilding plan as long as Rubio plays for 'Sota. If not, this was a bad move much like Steve Francis' short stint with Vancouver.

New Jersey Nets
 Players Acquired
Score: 9/10
Terrence Williams - SG/SF (11th pick), Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee, Tony Battie

The rebuilding mode just got serious with trading Vince Carter away for Courtney Lee and Rafer Alston. Rafer will probably be moved to a playoff team in the near future. The selection of Terrence Williams is a good one because he can come in right away and fill the void of Vince Carter. He isn't the play-maker that Carter was but he can score and defend. The Nets set themselves up nicely by shedding Vince's contract and could be major players in 2010 free agency with their cap space. Jay-Z is smiling somewhere.

New Orleans Hornets
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
Darren Collison - PG (21st pick), Marcus Thornton - SG (43rd pick)

I thought the Hornets had serious backcourt issues heading into this off-season and they kicked off the summer by addressing them. They got a great backup point guard option in Collison who was considered to be a lottery pick two years ago. He's a great defensive presence and could cause problems for opposing backup point guards. He most importantly will allow the Hornets to give Chris Paul some more rest throughout the season. Thornton is an interesting prospect at shooting guard off the bench. He's a really good scorer who can defend a little and will be a nice backup off-guard as the Hornets retool their playoff team.

New York Knicks
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
Jordan Hill - PF/C (8th pick), Toney Douglas - SG (29th pick), Darko Milicic

The Knicks added to their frontcourt and backcourt without having to give up a whole lot. Darko and Hill will give some nice depth upfront as they add length and defense. Hill will allow the Knicks to deal David Lee away for a nice young piece or future draft considerations. Toney Douglas might have been the steal of the draft for them. It cost them some cash, which they have plenty of, and gives them a really good defender off the bench that can guard both guard positions and still give you some offense. If they make a move for Rubio then this draft is off the charts for them.

Oklahoma City Thunder
 Players Acquired
Score: 7/10
 James Harden - SG (3rd pick), B.J. Mullens - C (24th pick), Robert Vaden - SG (54th pick)

Sam Presti nearly won the entire draft once again. He drafted a perfect selection for his team in James Harden who will not only fit in perfectly with their core but will also be a dangerous scoring option. Harden won't get a lot better than what he is right now but he can be a perfect third scoring option on a really good team. Initially, the Thunder drafted Rodrigue Beaubois but then traded him to the Mavericks for B.J. Mullens. Mullens is one of the better center prospects in this draft but that's only because it's a weak class. Personally, I think Mullens never gives you more than what a Kwame Brown could do. But he fills a need. As for Vaden, he could provide scoring off the bench that someone like Kyle Weaver is inconsistent at doing.

Orlando Magic
 Players Acquired
Score: 10/10
 Vince Carter, Ryan Anderson

Otis Smith and SVG are definitely going for a title next year after tasting the chance this season. Adding Vince Carter gives them a better scorer and an equal play-maker in potentially replacing Hedo Turkoglu. The Magic have more of a traditional starting five now when they figure out the power forward situation and the addition of Ryan Anderson gives them another good shooter off the bench. For what the Magic gave up, they certainly got a lot in return. No draft picks in this night but they made up for it by making the best move.

Philadelphia 76ers
 Players Acquired
Score: 10/10
Jrue Holiday - PG (17th pick)

Once Holiday fell to the Sixers at 17, it was a no-brainer that he'd be selected. With Andre Miller a free agent and Louis Williams showing to be more of a shooting guard than point, they needed a good, defensive point guard who won't try to be the main guy on the floor. He should fit in perfectly with Eddie Jordan's system in setting up his other teammates. Holiday isn't a very good scorer but he can push the ball, find his teammates, and play lockdown defense on the other end. A backcourt of him and Andre Iguodala will be nearly impossible to penetrate against.

Phoenix Suns
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
Earl Clark - SF (14th pick), Taylor Griffin - SF (48th pick), Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic

This is looking to be the most awkward rebuilding mode of all-time. I don't have enough wits about me right now to discuss the direction this franchise is going. This will warrant its own article.

Portland Trailblazers
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
Victor Claver - SF (22nd pick), Jeff Pendergraph - F (31st pick), Dante Cunningham - PF (33rd pick), Patrick Mills - PG (55th pick)

Claver will be a nice role player when he finally comes over because he's very athletic (much like Travis Outlaw). I'm not big on Pendergraph and I don't think that Cunningham will do much in the next couple of years other than help the D-League. But Patty Mills going with the 55th pick was a complete steal. He was an end of the first round talent that fell for essentially no reason. He'll be a great backup or third point guard for them with Sergio Rodriguez gone to Sacramento. Is this team capable of having a bad draft?

Sacramento Kings
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
Tyreke Evans - G (4th pick), Omri Casspi - SF (23rd pick), Jon Brockman - PF (38th pick), Sergio Rodriguez

San Antonio Spurs
 Players Acquired
Score: 9/10
DeJuan Blair - PF (37th pick), Jack McClinton - SG (51st pick), Nando De Colo - PG (53rd pick)

First they trade nothing for Richard Jefferson and now they end up with DeJuan Blair without having a first round pick. Blair's knees are a big concern but his toughness, defense and rebounding make him a perfect selection for the Spurs. De Colo is another asset for the Spurs front office to stash across the Atlantic Ocean who could easily be what Beno Udrih failed to be for Pop. McClinton is a decent fifth guard option off the bench for San Antonio but they'll probably never need to use his services. Once again, the Spurs just have the damndest luck sometimes.

Toronto Raptors
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
DeMar DeRozan - SG (9th pick)

DeRozan was the no-brainer pick for the Raptors here because with Anthony Parker being a free agent, they badly need an athletic two-guard. DeRozan is like the light beer version of Vince Carter. He's a high-jumper with an improving outside shot. His athleticism sets him apart from other shooting guard prospects and he looks to be a much better version of Nick Young. He should bring a good weapon to the Raptors attack that they've been missing for some time. Solid pick for Toronto.

Utah Jazz
 Players Acquired
Score: 9/10
 Eric Maynor - PG (20th pick), Goran Suton - C (50th pick)

The Jazz addressed the need of providing Deron Williams with some much-needed help and rest by drafting my favorite point guard from this past college season. Maynor is capable of controlling a game with his pressure defense and is always a fastbreak waiting to happen with his ball-hawking skills. He has a great nose for the ball and is very good at creating offense for his teammates and himself. In Suton, the Jazz picked up a versatile big man who can score from anywhere. He's probably headed to Europe to make better money while he develops but if the Jazz lose out on Millsap AND Boozer this off-season, he might show up in SLC next season.

Washington Wizards
 Players Acquired
Score: 8/10
 Randy Foye, Mike Miller

The Wizards made the correct move by dealing the 5th pick for more proven players. Mike Miller will be a perfect fit into the Flip Saunders attack with a healthy Gilbert Arenas and Foye will prove to be a nice weapon off the bench. Keeping the pick would have resulted in a slight regression with this team.
