The "Mock" in "Mock Draft" always seems to bring about memories of this scene.

With that said (or sung), here are the results of the Mock Draft that we held during the podcast. I'm going to sum up each pick with a one sentence quip. Get ready for some speculation!

1. Los Angeles Clippers - Blake Griffin, PF from Oklahoma
Unending vertical balances out the crossed-eyes to form a very no-brainer pick for the Clippers.

2. Memphis Grizzlies - Hasheem Thabeet, C from Connecticut
At some point, you have to start stockpiling big men to attempt some post presence and it doesn't get bigger in this draft than Thabeet.

3. Oklahoma City Thunder - Ricky Rubio, PG from Spain
How often do you get to select your point guard of the future AND piss off your former point guard of the future at the same time?
Pick Should Be: James Harden

4. Sacramento Kings - Jonny Flynn, PG from Syracuse
They need a point guard that the apparently felonious Tyreke Evans isn't a lock to fulfill so you might as well take the most exciting guy on the board.
Pick Should Be: Stephen Curry

5. Minnesota T'Wolves - James Harden, SG from Arizona State
He's probably the best player available and he fills a need; this isn't your father's T'Wolves front office...

6. Minnesota T'Wolves - Stephen Curry, G from Davidson
The last time I remember two close picks happened for a team this high in the draft, the Celtics ended up with Ron Mercer and Chauncey Billups and the Bulls ended up with Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler (I still heart Curry).
Pick Should Be: Brandon Jennings

7. Golden State Warriors - Jordan Hill, PF from Arizona
Not even the Warriors can screw this one up ... or can they...?

8. New York Knicks - Tyreke Evans, G from Memphis
Other than losing out on Curry, Evans falling to the Knicks could possibly make up for D'Antoni passing on the Bulls for Knicks glory and in turn, missing out on Derrick Rose in SSOL.
Pick Should Be: Brandon Jennings

9. Toronto Raptors - Demar DeRozan, SG from USC
He thinks he can jump higher than Vince Carter and is in line to disappoint thousands of Raptors fans -- Welcome home, Air DeRozan!

10. Milwaukee Bucks - Brandon Jennings, PG from Italy
They love Jennings here and would have an out for not having to overpay Ramon Sessions.
Pick Should Be: Terrance Williams

11. New Jersey Nets - Terrance Williams, SG from Louisville
This couldn't be a better pairing -- like Delta Burke and the guy from Major Dad.

12. Charlotte Bobcats - Tyler Hansbrough, PF from North Carolina
I'm with my man Corn on this one; Psycho T has Charlotte written all over him.
Pick Should Be: Gerald Henderson

13. Indiana Pacers - Jrue Holiday, PG from UCLA
Larry Bird will wet himself with Jrue falling to the Pacers at 13...WET HIMSELF.

14. Phoenix Suns - Earl Clark, SF from Louisville
Maybe he can begin to restore the loss of Shawn Marion with his size and versatility.

15. Detroit Pistons - DeJuan Blair, PF from Pittsburgh
There literally has never been a better match of player and city since the Celtics drafted Larry Bird.

16. Chicago Bulls - James Johnson, PF from Wake Forest
Bulls could use another good big man with Brad Miller likely gone at the end of the season.

17. Philadelphia 76ers - Ty Lawson, PG from North Carolina
Soon to be forgotten in Philadelphia -- the Andre Miller era.

18. Minnesota T'Wolves - B.J. Mullens, C from Ohio State
There's no way the Wolves could get an entire draft correct so Mullen is the typical bad pick in the first round (think: Paul Grant).
Pick Should Be: Sam Young

19. Atlanta Hawks - Eric Maynor, PG from VCU
I'm one Eric Maynor steal at halfcourt off of a bad crossover away from moving to Atlanta.

20. Utah Jazz - Gerald Henderson, SG from Duke
What are the odds that Jerry Sloan and Gerald Henderson form a biker gang?

21. New Orleans Hornets - Austin Daye, SF from Gonzaga
Daye falling this far is just too hard to pass up for a team as thin as the Hornets.
Pick Should Be: Jeff Teague

22. Portland Trailblazers - Omri Casspi, SF from Israel
They leap-frogged the Kings for a reason.

23. Sacramento Kings - Sam Young, SF from Pittsburgh
They'd love to stash Casspi overseas for a couple of years but Sam Young's scoring off the bench will be a nice consolation prize.

24. Dallas Mavericks - Jeff Teague, PG from Wake Forest
Jason Kidd is ready to bolt and the Mavs can't rely on a guy who is 5'8".

25. Oklahoma City Thunder - Derrick Brown, PF from Xavier
Are you ready for some energy off the bench that will ignite the Thunder crowd?

26. Chicago Bulls - Nick Calathes, PG from Florida
I love the Calathes pick but they might be better off getting a shooting guard to contribute now, rather than later.
Pick Should Be: Chase Budinger

27. Memphis Grizzlies - Taj Gibson, PF from USC
Still desperate for size and with Teague off the board, they're willing to wait on a backup point guard.

28. Minnesota T'Wolves - Patrick Mills, PG from St. Mary's
Three out of four really good picks is the way to go for the new era of Wolves basketball.

29. Los Angeles Lakers - Dajuan Summers, SF from Georgetown
This is an insurance pick if they keep it to ensure that they still have depth at the small forward position.
Pick Should Be: Victor Claver

30. Cleveland Cavaliers - Darren Collison, PG from UCLA
Grabbing Collison here when he was considered a lottery pick two years ago is a coup for Danny Ferry.
