It's easily my favorite podcast and the one I listen to first and foremost every day. It usually gets me through the half hour train rides into work so that I don't have to accidentally be forced into a break the silence type of conversation with some stranger who I will probably end up being rude to in order to get them to ignore me. Ever since they've gone to five shows a week, I've been able to enjoy this podcast every day. Dan gets the best guests to interview and doesn't ask them the typical questions that you expect in interviews. He attacks the interview from a different angle and always turns it into more of an interesting discussion instead of an actual interview. Often, it just sounds like he's talking to his friend Chuck Norris or Tony Kornheiser (actually his friend) or in this morning's discussion Ernie Johnson.
When I found out a couple of days ago that Ernie was going to be on the podcast, I was genuinely giddy because I know that the professional conversationalist, Dan Levy, would make it a great half hour. In fact, when I listened to it this morning I was sad when it was over because it was so enjoyable.
They discuss everything from awards that Bob Costas keeps hording to Charles Barkley to Ernie's battle with cancer and much more.
You will not listen to a better discussion/interview today than the one Dan had with EJ. I implore you to listen, subscribe to the RSS feed or the iTunes feed and enjoy this podcast each day. Support the Habit and the DL.
You can follow Dan here on Twitter and Ernie Johnson is also on Twitter now.
