We always assumed that Stan Van Gundy was screwed over by Pat Riley when he was replaced "stepped down" from head coaching duties right as the Miami Heat made their title run.  But then Shaq came out earlier this year after he was called out by SVG for flopping against Dwight and started talking about players hatred and lack of respect for the mustachioed one. And we started to wonder aloud how much clout these inflammatory accusations from the Diesel actually carried.

Now with Dwight's post-game comments about "the coaches" (see: Van Gundy, Head Coach Stan), you have to wonder how much respect the players have for his neurotic frame of mind. How much do they believe he can lead them amongst the elite? How much faith do they have in him?

I think Stan may officially be on notice that he needs to find a way to pull his team out of this end of the game funk. Dwight Howard making these types of comments can only lead to something more dysfunctional if the coach doesn't correct it immediately. If the Magic blow Game Six or Seven in the same manner, and they don't make the Eastern Conference Finals next season, I think we could see a pink slip with SVG's name on it.
