During Monday night's Game Four of the Western Conference Finals, ESPN ran a mini-documentary on Chris Andersen.

I thought it was a great piece that shed a little bit of light on who Chris Andersen is and what he went through with drugs, family problems, and bad decisions. There are amazing things in this interview that range from a Junior Harrington mention at the Stu Scott introduction to this incredible montage of highlights to his teammates talking excitedly about him and much more.

But my two favorite parts were the following:

1) The fact that he has split Chris Andersen and Birdman into two different personalities just floored me. I am completely willing to eat that up and buy into it. I loved the fact that he said if someone wanted to know who Birdman was that they'd have to ask Birdman himself.

2) I thought it was brilliant and completely correct when he says that you shouldn't do drugs period so why do people have to know which ones he did and got busted for. That shouldn't be the crux of the issue with Birdman's comeback story. His message of just don't do them period is the right message for the thousands of little Baby Birdmen who gel up their hair and sport Denver jerseys.
