Here's a new commercial for Nike featuring the muppet/puppet/creepy versions of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James on just a typical off day.

Apparently, they hang out quite a bit right before the playoffs with LBJ still wearing his uniform and Kobe Bryant dressing up like Kevin Federline. Here's the commercial via Basketball-Reference:




One of my favorite things that Saturday Night Live does is run multiple jokes for the same story during Weekend Update. I think it's a clever concept and I'm glad that they don't limit themselves to just one joke. So let me throw a couple at you right now (it will be cathartic for me and show you why I'm not a writer for SNL):

- Apparently, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant decided to sabotage the Nuggets post-season run by sprinkling some cocaine around Chris Anderson's home.

- Looking to outdo the other in terms of wasting money, LeBron James decides to redecorate his house like Tony Montana's.

- LeBron and Kobe were filmed setting up the after party for Michael Ray Richardson's induction into the Hall of Fame.

- LeBron James and Kobe Bryant were filmed setting up Shawn Kemp's surprise party.
