When the CW debuted the new 90210 after an eight-year hiatus from the original Beverly Hills 90210 a lot of people thought it was a dumb, short sighted, desperate attempt to reignite some television magic from a different generation. And some people thought, “What the f%$*? I thought we got rid of that nonsense!”

Well, that’s sort of how this new rebranding of Talkhoops.net is going to go. Like the interactive columns and such? There are videos (more to come too)!

There are going to be old characters and new characters showing up. We’ve got the same old environment with a brand new look. As you can tell, we’ve had a makeover. Like the new logo and banner? We’re going to battle issues like Ron Artest, Kevin Garnett’s knee, teen pregnancy, lying and deceit, the Lakers’ chances to repeat, hey, look it’s Jenny Garth!, Brandon Jennings hair, Tyreke Evans’ Rookie of the Year win, and everything else worth noting this basketball season.

There will be more game recaps and analysis, more daily news throughout the day, and we may even interview a person or two.

We hope you like the new digs because this is our new home on the Bloguin Network. Much thanks to Derek Hanson, Dave Kelsey, and Ben Koo for their hard work bringing Talkhoops aboard and to our fellow penguin logo’d writers Mookie, Jeff Garcia, and Michael De Leon.

We’re happy to be aboard and ready for the NBA season.
