Weekly Fix Episode 1 - 05/26/2008
The most anticipated podcast on the internet since William Hung's Variety Show Podcast is unveiled and presented to you by Talkhoops.net. By the name of the podcast, you can deduce that it is a weekly show that we will be anxious to bring to you every week as we discuss the latest in the NBA, NBA Culture, NBA Business, and any aspect of pop culture that appears in our heads. The Weekly Fix is hosted by owner/creator/editor/senior writer, Zach Harper, and senior writer/Good Knowledge dropper, Brandon Gallawa. In the first episode, we hit on the following topics:

1. The NBA Playoffs. We go over what's happened in the Eastern Conference Finals between the Pistons and the Celtics while discussing home teams dominating, coaching match-ups, and much more. We also discuss the Western Conference Finals between the Lakers and Spurs and try to figure out why people don't like watching the best franchise of the past decade.
2. The NBA Draft. Who's the best pick for the Chicago Bulls -- Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley. Plus, we dive into the potential sleepers and busts of the projected first round picks along with Zach Harper's hope of his beloved Timberwolves not picking one of the Disney Twins with the #3 pick.
3. Restricted Free Agency. Who are players from the 2005 NBA Draft worth giving long-term extensions this summer? Who are players worth avoiding locking into a long-term deal?
4. Summer Movies. We discuss what movies are going to be worth spending an arm and a leg to go see this summer and which movies you should probably only watch by ordering it from NetFlix.
